As 2022 is coming to an end, it’s time to look back at some milestones from the year that has passed.
The language schools and independent teachers who have been using Edugo.AI Platform this year collectively created 34,000+ gamified lessons, performed over 67,000 live classes and sold more than one thousand language courses.
To support all those language businesses’ activities, the Edugo.AI team has always worked hard to deliver the best possible experience for users, and this year was no different! We’ve released several updates that improved students’ learning path, as well as made it easier than even before to create interactive language content.
Without further ado, here’s what 2022 looked like at Edugo.AI.
You know what students (no matter how old they are) don’t like about classes? Classes are boring. But, if you make the learning fun, not only students will be engaged and motivated, but will perform better, learn quicker, and achieve higher results in the long-term, too. (Check out the Top 5 gamification benefits in language learning).
With our platform’s AI-powered LMS, teachers can transform the language material (video, audio, text…) into gamified and personalized exercises in just a few clicks. When practicing, students will get points and rewards while competing on a leaderboard. Time-attack activities and mini games are also available, all of which are automatically generated.
Our team has developed lesson templates to provide educators with pedagogical experiences based on a variety of teaching methods. These templates are designed to develop a pedagogical framework that meets the instructor's needs. Each template emphasizes the unit of language (vocabulary, sentence, dialogue, text), language proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, writing), and pedagogical approaches to accommodate the needs of different students.
Among the new templates available this year, we mention:
Each template comes with two versions: one includes translation in the students’ mother tongue, while the other focuses on visual aids and doesn’t use any translation. This allows teachers to decide which method is more efficient for their students – either the direct method approach or the grammar-translation approach. Our template system is designed to help teachers customize their lesson plans around their students' learning style and needs.
This year, we have undertaken the task of simplifying the process for freelance language teachers and language schools to establish their own online presence. With only four steps and zero coding skills required, one can now launch a language teaching business online in just 30 seconds. All you need to do is enter the desired school name, URL, language(s) you plan to teach and the source language.
This streamlined process makes it easy to get started in the world of online language business, allowing you to focus on what you do best – teaching. With the right platform, you can now reach more students than ever before, and successfully build your language teaching business in a breeze.
The global language teaching and schooling market is a competitive one, especially now that everyone is online. If you want to stand out, your content needs better promotion!
That’s why at Edugo.AI we’ve set up landing page templates specific to independent teachers and language schools, that will help you build your branded platform, with no coding skills required! Students will be able to seamlessly join the online school without any hassle, as well as check the available language courses and the lesson packages.
As we continue to develop features to support language businesses online, we are always keeping our roadmap objectives in mind. Our goal is to automate teaching tasks to amplify, extend and scale the human interaction at the core of language learning. We measure our success by how close we are to achieving this objective.
So far, we have made good progress in this area and we are closing the solar year with a major milestone in our journey. We've successfully integrated the same large language model technology used by the popular ChatGPT into our platform - making it the first application of a language model-powered LMS specifically for language learning and teaching.
This integration allows us to take content personalization to the next level, as our system not only adapts to the needs of the student, but also generates relevant and engaging content for learners in real-time. Take a look at this video to see the technology in action.
We are beyond excited about the progress of Edugo.AI GPT3 to date, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for our platform! The private beta version of this technology is currently accessible via waitlist only - if you'd like to be a part of it, you can sign up here.
Be sure to stay tuned - Edugo.AI GPT3 will only continue to get better and better in the coming months!
